Built-in and over-the-range microwaves fail in two directions: no power at all, or the turntable spins while nothing heats. The first is usually a door interlock switch or a blown fuse, the second is the magnetron or the high-voltage diode. Built-in units in cabinetry are worth repairing; countertop units usually are not, and we say so rather than charging you to find out.
